The Difference Between Our Supplements and What You Find at a Big Box Store

Walk into any big box supplement store and you will find hundreds of products making big promises.

More energy. Better sleep. Faster recovery. Sharper focus. The labels are loud and the claims are everywhere. Most of them have one thing in common. They cannot back up what they claim.

This is not cynicism. It is the reality of an industry with almost no accountability for what ends up in the bottle.

Here is what actually separates a quality supplement from one that is taking up shelf space.

The Problem With Proprietary Blends

You have seen this on labels. A list of ingredients grouped under a single name like "Performance Matrix" or "Recovery Blend" with one combined dose listed for the entire group.

This is a red flag.

Proprietary blends exist to hide how much of each ingredient is actually in the product. A company can list fifteen ingredients under one blend, put effective doses of one or two of them, and fill the rest with trace amounts that do nothing. It is legal. It is common. And it is how most supplement companies cut costs without you knowing.

At Remastered, every ingredient in our formulas is listed with its individual dose. No blends. No hiding. No guessing.

Generic Versus Branded Ingredients

This is the most important distinction most people never learn.

Take ashwagandha. It is one of the most studied adaptogens in the world with a strong body of research behind it. But the research was not done on generic ashwagandha root powder. It was done on a specific patented extract called KSM-66, standardized to a precise concentration of active compounds and tested in clinical trials.

When a company uses generic ashwagandha instead of KSM-66 they are riding the reputation of the research without the substance behind it. The ingredient name on the label looks the same. The effect in your body is not.

Chill TF Out uses KSM-66 at 500mg. Not generic ashwagandha. Not a proprietary blend that includes ashwagandha somewhere in it. The actual clinically studied form at an effective dose.

The same principle applies throughout our formulas. Every ingredient is selected for the specific form that the research supports, not the cheapest version that sounds similar.

Why Dose Actually Matters

A product can have the right ingredient in the right form and still do nothing if the dose is wrong.

Clinical research on most supplements is done at specific doses. Below that threshold you are not getting the effect the research demonstrated. This is another way companies mislead consumers. They include an ingredient at a fraction of the effective dose so it appears on the label, charge premium prices, and deliver nothing.

L-Theanine is a good example. The research on L-Theanine for stress and focus uses doses of 200mg or higher. You will find L-Theanine in dozens of products at 50mg or 100mg. Half the dose, half the effect at best, zero effect in most cases.

Chill TF Out has 200mg of L-Theanine. Because that is what the research says works.

How We Build Our Formulas

Every Remastered product starts with a specific outcome. What are we trying to help people with? Then we work backwards from the clinical research to find the ingredients with the strongest evidence for that outcome, in the forms that the research used, at the doses that produced results.

Chill TF Out is for the person who needs a little extra help to relax. Non-stimulant. Mood-enhancing. Every ingredient chosen because the evidence supports it for stress, calm, and mood. Not because it is cheap, trendy, or makes for a good label claim.

Fountain of Youth is for longevity and cellular rejuvenation. NMN, Trans-Resveratrol, Fisetin, Spermidine. A precision stack targeting the hallmarks of aging at doses that match the research.

The Creative is for cognitive performance and flow. Lion's Mane, Alpha-GPC, Bacopa Monnieri, Tyrosine. Ingredients with strong evidence for focus, neuroplasticity, and sustained output — without stimulant dependency.

The Data-Driven Approach to Supplementation

Here is the thing about supplements that most brands do not want you to know.

The right supplement at the right dose for the wrong person still does not work as well as it should.

That is why at Remastered we start with your data before we recommend anything. Your InBody results, your bloodwork if available, your health history, and your goals all shape what we suggest. The goal is not to sell you everything. The goal is to find the two or three things that will actually move the needle for you specifically.

That is what separates a protocol from a pile of products.

The Short Version

Most supplements fail because of three things. Proprietary blends that hide dosing. Generic ingredients that do not match the research. And doses that are too low to do anything.

Remastered products exist because we got tired of those shortcuts. Every ingredient is disclosed. Every form is clinically studied. Every dose is effective.

That is the standard. It is not complicated. It is just uncommon.
